Is páirtí conarthach é an tAontas in UNCLOS [6] de bhun Chinneadh 98/414/CE ón gComhairle [7], Chomhaontú na Náisiún Aontaithe maidir le Forálacha Choinbhinsiún na Náisiún Aontaithe maidir le Dlí na Farraige an 10 Nollaig 1982 i ndáil le Caomhnú agus le bainistiú stoc éisc traslimistéir agus stoc éisc mór-imirceach a chur chun feidhme an 4 Nollaig 1995 [8] (Comhaontú NA maidir le Stoic Éisc) agus de bhun Chinneadh 96/428/CE ón gComhairle [9], an Comhaontaithe chun comhlíonadh beart caomhnaithe idirnáisiúnta agus beart bainistíochta idirnáisiúnta ag soithí iascaireachta ar an mórmhuir a chur chun cinn an 24 Samhain 1993, ar comhaontú de chuid Eagraíocht Bia agus Talmhaíochta na Náisiún Aontaithe é [10].
The Union is a contracting party to UNCLOS [6] and, pursuant to Council Decision 98/414/EC [7], to the United Nations Agreement on the implementation of the provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea of 10 December 1982 relating to the conservation and management of straddling fish stocks and highly migratory fish stocks of 4 December 1995 [8] (UN Fish Stocks Agreement) and, pursuant to Council Decision 96/428/EC [9], to the Agreement to promote compliance with international conservation and management measures by fishing vessels on the high seas of 24 November 1993 of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations [10].
