    Article 3(5) and Article 5(2) of that Regulation provide that if effective action has been taken in compliance with, respectively, a recommendation under Article 126(7) TFEU or a decision to give notice under Article 126(9) TFEU, and unexpected adverse economic events with major unfavourable consequences for government finances occur after the adoption of that recommendation or decision to give notice, the Council may decide, on a recommendation from the Commission, to adopt a revised recommendation under Article 126(7) TFEU or a revised decision to give notice under Article 126(9) TFEU.

    I gcás, tar éis 1 Iúil 2021, inar aithin an Chomhairle gur tharla imeacht neamhghnách lasmuigh de smacht an Bhallstáit lena mbaineann, imeacht a bhfuil tionchar mór aige ar sheasamh airgeadais an rialtais ghinearálta nó a n-eascraíonn mórshleabhcadh eacnamaíoch as i gcás an limistéir euro nó i gcás an Aontais ina iomláine dá dtagraítear sa deichiú fomhír d’Airteagal 5(1), an ceathrú fomhír d’Airteagal 6(3), an deichiú fomhír d’Airteagal 9(1) agus an ceathrú fomhír d’Airteagal 10(3) de Rialachán (CE) Uimh. 1466/97 nó i gcás ina dtarlaíonn imeachtaí eacnamaíocha díobhálacha gan choinne a bhfuil mór-iarmhairtí mífhabhracha acu ar airgeadas rialtais dá dtagraítear in Airteagail 3(5) agus 5(2) de Rialachán (CE) Uimh. 1467/97, féadfaidh an Coimisiún, trí bhíthin cinneadh cur chun feidhme agus ar feadh uastréimhse dar fad 18 mí, ceann amháin nó níos mó de na bearta seo a leanas a ghlacadh ar an gcoinníoll go bhfuil dianghá leo chun freagairt d’imthosca eisceachtúla nó neamhghnácha den sórt sin:

    Where after 1 July 2021 the Council has recognised the occurrence of an unusual event outside the control of one or more Member States, which has a major impact on the financial position of the general government or a severe economic downturn for the euro area or the Union as a whole as referred to in the tenth subparagraph of Article 5(1), the fourth subparagraph of Article 6(3), the tenth subparagraph of Article 9(1) and the fourth subparagraph of Article 10(3) of Regulation (EC) No 1466/97 or the occurrence of unexpected adverse economic events with major unfavourable consequences for government finances as referred to in Articles 3(5) and 5(2) of Regulation (EC) No 1467/97, the Commission may, by means of an implementing decision and for a period of a maximum of 18 months, adopt one or more of the following measures provided that they are strictly necessary to respond to such exceptional or unusual circumstances:

    Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021 laying down common provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund Plus, the Cohesion Fund, the Just Transition Fund and the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund and financial rules for those and for the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund, the Internal Security Fund and the Instrument for Financial Support for Border Management and Visa Policy
