Ba cheart imscrúduithe a dhéanamh i gcomhréir leis na Conarthaí agus go háirithe le Prótacal Uimh. 7 maidir le pribhléidí agus díolúintí an Aontais Eorpaigh, agus urraim á tabhairt, ag an am céanna, do Rialacháin Foirne Oifigigh an Aontais Eorpaigh agus Coinníollacha Fostaíochta Sheirbhísigh Eile an Aontais Eorpaigh a leagtar síos i Rialachán (CEE, Euratom, CEGC) Uimh. 259/68 ón gComhairle [9] ("na Rialacháin Foirne"), agus do Reacht Fheisirí Pharlaimint na hEorpa, agus urramú iomlán á thabhairt do chearta an duine agus do shaoirsí bunúsacha, go háirithe do phrionsabal na cothroime, do chearta na ndaoine lena mbaineann a gcuid tuairimí a nochtadh maidir leis na firicí a bhaineann leo agus don phrionsabal faoinar féidir an méid a bhaintear de thátal as imscrúdú a bhunú ar na gnéithe de a mbaineann fianaise leo agus ar an mbun sin amháin.
Investigations should be conducted in accordance with the Treaties and in particular with Protocol No 7 on the privileges and immunities of the European Union, while respecting the Staff Regulations of Officials and the Conditions of Employment of Other Servants of the European Union laid down in Council Regulation (EEC, Euratom, ECSC) No 259/68 [9] ("the Staff Regulations") and the Statute for Members of the European Parliament, and with full respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms, in particular the principle of fairness, for the right of persons involved to express their views on the facts concerning them and for the principle that the conclusions of an investigation may be based solely on elements which have evidential value.

The right to bargain collectively is recognised under those ILO conventions, under ILO Labour Relations (Public Services) Convention No 151 (1978) and ILO Collective Bargaining Convention No 154 (1981), as well as under the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and the ESC.

The processing of personal data for the purposes of Regulation (EC) No 273/2004, as amended by this Regulation, and any delegated and implementing acts adopted pursuant thereto should respect the fundamental right to respect for private and family life recognised by Article 8 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms as well as the rights to respect for private and family life, and the right to the protection of personal data recognised, respectively, by Articles 7 and 8 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

The processing of personal data for the purposes of Regulation (EC) No 111/2005, as amended by this Regulation, and any delegated and implementing acts adopted pursuant thereto should respect the fundamental right to respect for private and family life recognised by Article 8 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms as well as the right to respect for private and family life, and the right to the protection of personal data recognised, respectively, by Articles 7 and 8 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

On duly justified imperative grounds of urgency, such as crises or immediate threats to democracy, the rule of law, human rights or fundamental freedoms, the Commission may adopt immediately applicable implementing acts in accordance with the procedure referred to in Article 16(4) of Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 in order to modify strategy papers and multiannual indicative programmes referred to in Article 11 of this Regulation.

The processing of personal data for the purposes of Regulation (EC) No 515/97 and any delegated and implementing acts adopted pursuant thereto should observe the fundamental right to respect for private and family life recognised by Article 8 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, as well as the rights to respect for private and family life, and the right to the protection of personal data, recognised, respectively, by Articles 7 and 8 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

The United Kingdom ratified Protocol No 13 to the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms concerning the abolition of the death penalty in all circumstances and therefore meets the requirements for inclusion in the list of destinations laid down in Annex V Part 2 to Regulation (EU) 2019/125.
