The National Corpus of Irish, accessible on the new website corpas.ie, replaces this resource. The Corpus of Contemporary Irish, as it was known, is no longer available. This section will be removed from the Gaois website in early 2025.
The Corpus of Contemporary Irish was a monolingual collection of Irish-language texts in digital format. It was made freely available to the public in 2016. Gaois is very grateful to the publishers and copyright holders who gave permission to use their material.
