- Comment The enhanced partnership and cooperation agreement (EPCA) represents a successor agreement to the partnership and cooperation agreement [ IATE:879441 ]. For the time being (November 2018), the only EPCA that has been signed is with Kazakhstan [ IATE:3579028 ], while other countries (Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine) have instead replaced their PCAs with association agreements [ IATE:769072 ]. However, negotiations have been authorised for agreements with Uzbekistan [ IATE:3579036 ], Kyrgyzstan [ IATE:3579046 ] and Azerbaijan [ IATE:3579038 ] that, although they currently go by a different name ('comprehensive agreement'), are nevertheless considered EPCAs.
