    Comment Cet indice comprend trois niveaux (veille, avis et alerte) et regroupe trois indicateurs:- SPI (Standardized Precipitation Index ou indice de précipitation normalisé);- SMA (Soil Moisture Anomaly ou Anomalie d'humidité du sol);- FAPAR Anomaly (Anomaly of Vegetation Condition), soit l’état de la végétation déterminé par télédétection.Une veille signale un déficit de précipitations, un avis indique que l’insuffisance de précipitations se traduit par un déficit d’humidité du sol et une alerte signifie que les déficits de précipitations et d’humidité du sol ont une incidence sur la végétation.
