    Comment Cette convention a aussi établi un mécanisme pour la coopération internationale au niveau de la recherche, de la surveillance, et de l'échange de données sur l'état de la couche d'ozone stratosphérique ainsi que sur les rejets et les concentrations de CFC et autres produits chimiques pertinents.Cette convention ne contient aucun dispositif contraignant, mais prévoit que des protocoles spécifiques pourront lui être annexés. C'est ainsi qu'un protocole relatif à des substances qui appauvrissent la couche d’ozone a été adopté à Montréal, le 16 septembre 1987 [ IATE:775500 ].
