En introduisant les objectifs de la directive 2008/115/CE dans le système juridique allemand, la « Abschiebung » est devenu la plus fréquente sorte d’éloignement forcé et donc souvent l’éloignement est traduit comme « Abschiebung » bien qu’il y ait encore d’autres notions qui rentrent dans ce champ comme « Zurückschiebung » (cf. IATE:3585272) et « Durchbeförderung ». / Nicht zu verwechseln mit « rapatriement » , was vielmehr mit der Organisation und Durchführung der Rückreise des Ausländers, nach einem Reisevorfall oder dem Umzug von im Ausland tätigen Beamten (§ 27 Auslandsumzugskostenverordnung, http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/bundesrecht/auv_2012/gesamt.pdf ) betrifft. Mit der Umsetzung der RL 2008/115/EG ist die Abschiebung die am häufigsten vorkommende Form der "Rückführung", obwohl es daneben noch weitere Formen gibt, wie "Zurückschiebung" oder "Durchbeförderung", die Arten von Rückführungen darstellen.
