    Comment Suite à la conférence de Durban, il a été décidé d’ajouter un nouveau gaz à effet de serre à la liste desmolécules surveillées par le protocole de Kyoto, qui intègre le dioxyde de carbone (CO2), le méthane (CH4), l'oxyde nitreux (N2O), les hydrofluorocarbures (HFC), les perfluocarbures (PFC) et l'hexafluorure de soufre(SF6)). Ce gaz est d’autant plus préoccupant que sa concentration, bien que faible, a été multipliée par 30 entre 1978 et 2008 et qu’il est 5 à 6 fois plus persistant que le CO2 (dont la présence dans l'atmosphère de l'ordre du siècle).
