Definition manufacturing of a product in multiple, discrete steps, with a production stop at the end of each step, before moving the process to the next step Reference "COM-Terminology Coordination, based on: Shane McLaughlin. 'Continuous Manufacturing vs Batch Manufacturing in the Pharmaceutical Industry' (1.2.2022). SL Controls"
Comment Typically, production comes to a halt while samples are tested for quality offline.
