- Sainmhíniú "If a Member adopts restrictions to safeguard its balance of payments, it must promptly notify the restrictions to the General Council of the WTO and must consult with the Committee on Balance-of-Payments Restrictions. The Committee will assess the balance of payments situation of the Member concerned and examine the justification for the restrictions applied.
