    Comment 1. It includes the former Article 50 Task Force and Brexit Preparedness Group. It was set up by decision of the College of Commissioners taken on 22 October 2019, agreed in close coordination between President Juncker and President-elect Ursula von der Leyen, which took effect on 16 November 20019.2. Following the adoption of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement on 24 December 2020, the Commission decided, at its meeting on 19 January 2021, to abolish UKTF with effect from 1 March 2021, and to replace it with a new EU-UK Agreements Service (SG.UKS), which will report to the Deputy Secretary-General responsible for interinstitutional and external relations.
