- Nóta In EU usage, the term 'food and nutrition security' can be seen as equivalent to 'food security' as defined in the Declaration of the World Summit on Food Security (28.9.2020), Rome, 16-18 November 2009. The concept of 'food security' has evolved to mean more than just security of supply, which was how it was defined at the 1974 World Food Conference. According to the 2009 Declaration, the nutritional dimension is an integral part of food security.In FAO usage, the term seems to be 'food security and nutrition', for instance in the FAO Committee on World Food Security's Global Strategic Framework for Food Security & Nutrition (28.9.2020) (GSF). However, the term 'food and nutrition security' represents a more integrated way to combine the two concepts. It emphasizes that the overall objective is to achieve both 'food security' and 'nutrition security' as a single, unitary goal of policy and programmatic actions.

- Nóta Si la FAO établit une légère nuance entre les deux façons de combiner sécurité alimentaire et sécurité nutritionelle ci-dessous, elle constate également que l'emploi des combinaisons "sécurité alimentaire et nutritionnelle" et "sécurité alimentaire et nutrition" peut être indifférencié ou relèver seulement de préférences linguistiques ou nationales.
