    Comment Der Pilz ist bei Arten aus Thailand, Vietnam und Japan nachweisbar, die aber keine Krankheitssymptome zeigen, also offenbar immun sind. Salamander und Molche in anderen Teilen der Welt sterben fast immer, wenn sie befallen sind. Der Erreger ist vermutlich über infizierte Tiere im Tierhandel nach Europa gelangt (vgl.
