    Nóta Compensation is one of the criteria which guide the courts in England & Wales as to redistribution of matrimonial assets. Lord Nicholls in Miller v Miller: 'compensation… is aimed at redressing any significant prospective economic disparity between the parties arising from the way they conducted their marriage.
