- Nóta Developed by the European Standardisation Committee (CEN), the framework provides an international tool for ICT professionals, professions and organisations. It uses a common language and definitions for competences, skills, knowledge and proficiency levels for the ICT sector. It supports decision-making in relation to the selection and recruitment of candidates, as well as the qualification, training and assessment of ICT professionals. It also enables the identification of skills and competences that may be required to successfully perform duties and fulfill responsibilities related to the ICT workplace.
