- Definition This Working Party deals with specific topics and ensures coherence in EU action in civil law matters, in particular those covered by Article 81 TFEU. The Working Party may also advise on questions relating to judicial cooperation in civil matters which arise in other areas of the Treaty, for instance in relation to provisions in other Community instruments specifying the competent court or the applicable law.
