    Comment 'Skills mismatch' [ IATE:927117 ] is broader as it may describe situations, for example, in which employees are overskilled for their jobs. A 'skills shortage' [ IATE:859401 ] usually describes a situation in which employers cannot find people to fill specific posts. 'Skill(s) gap' is also very commonly used with this meaning.
