    The foregoing provisions of this rule shall apply in cases of the taxation of a bill of costs payable out of a fund or estate or out of the assets of a company in liquidation, as well as between solicitor and client.

    For the purpose of voting at any voluntary liquidation meetings, a secured creditor shall, unless he surrender his security, lodge with the Liquidator before the meeting a statement giving the particulars of his security, the date when it was given and the value at which he assesses it.
