- Comment Die Internationale Kommission für das Zivilstandswesen wurde im Jahre 1950 auf Empfehlung des Europarates gegründet. Zu ihrer Aufgabe gehört die Erarbeitung und Verabschiedung von Übereinkommen und Empfehlungen, durch die vornehmlich die Rechtsanwendung über die Grenzen hinweg vereinfacht und das materielle Recht der Mitgliedstaaten harmonisiert werden soll. Heute sind 15 Staaten Mitglieder der Kommission. Sitz ist Straßburg. DIV: ds, 30.4.2012
