    Comment Les feuilles vertes de tabac (Nicotiana tabacum) contiennent (en pourcentage de poids sec) entre 1 et 10 % d'alcaloïdes (exceptionnellement 15 %) : la nicotine est majoritaire (jusqu'à 90-95 %) ; les autres alcaloïdes du tabac sont chimiquement proches de la nicotine, les plus importants étant l'anabasine et la nornicotine.
