NÓTA La convention a été modifiée le 15 décembre 1989 par l'<i>Accord en matière de brevets communautaires</i> (IATE:769911 ), qui y a intégré des protocoles concernant le règlement des litiges et une Cour d'appel commune (IATE:850540 ).<br><br>Ces textes ne sont jamais entrés en vigueur car certains Etats membres ne les ont pas ratifiés.<br><br>Les efforts en vue de doter l'Union d'un brevet communautaire ont repris en 2000 avec la présentation d'une proposition de règlement par la Commission.
