- Nóta The Annex to Decision 2002/253/EC, as amended by Decision 2008/426/EC, specifies that cases of communicable diseases are to be classified as possible [ IATE:3504410 ], probable [ IATE:3504409 ] and confirmed [ IATE:2143670 ], and sets out criteria for specific communicable diseases. Decision 2009/363/EC adds influenza A(H1N1) to the list of diseases, but [inadvertently?] replaces the term possible case with the term case under investigation, and changes the underlying definitions of the three types of case, instead of simply defining the specific criteria for influenza A(H1N1).
