Cóip statach de shonraí a easpórtáiltear ó IATE ó am go chéile atá sa chnuasach seo. Níor cheart glacadh leis gurb ionann i gcónaí an t-eolas a thugtar faoi iontráil anseo agus a bhfuil sa leagan reatha den iontráil ar IATE. Is féidir an leagan reatha sin a cheadú ach cliceáil ar an nasc atá ar thaobh na láimhe deise ag barr gach iontrála. Breis eolais »

Nóta Wind tunnels are based on the idea that the aerodynamic effects of an object moving in a fluid are identical to the effects of a fluid moving at the same velocity past a stationary object. Wind tunnels have been used to analyse the flight of a sports implements, such as the discus and javelin, and the flow of air over a human body (for example, a cyclist or skier). The body (implement or person) is placed in the wind tunnel, and the air flow is regulated so that the relative motion of the air and subject is the same as it would be in the natural environment.
