    Nóta Fonctionnement de "eCALL":En cas d'accident, le dispositif "eCall" installé dans un véhicule envoie un appel d'urgence au centre de réception des appels d'urgence le plus approprié (PSAP - Public Service Answering Point), et envoie en même temps un certains nombre de données relatives au véhicule (notamment sa localisation précise). Le système est basé sur l'emploi du numéro d'urgence unique européen, le 112, qui permettra d'assurer son interopérabilité dans toute l'Union européenne (UE).
