Trois groupes d’espèces d’oiseaux sont représentés dans l’indice utilisé par Eurostat: les espèces communes des champs (39 espèces), les espèces communes des forêts (34 espèces) et toutes les espèces communes (167 espèces) comprenant les espèces des champs, les espèces des forêts et 94 autres espèces communes (généralistes, par opposition aux spécialistes des champs et des forêts).(Source: ibid.)
