ciallaíonn "iompar trasteorann airgid thirim in euro de bhóthar" an iompar gairmiúil cibé acu ar luach saothair thar ceann tríú páirtithe nó iompar a dhéantar laistigh de chuideachta airgid thirim idirthurais ("CIT" anseo feasta) — nótaí bainc nó monaí in euro, ar iompar é a dhéantar i bhfeithicil, de bhóthar, ó Bhallstát rannpháirteach, chun nótaí bainc nó monaí in euro a sholáthar d’áit nó d’áiteanna i mBallstát rannpháirteach nó i mBallstáit rannpháirteacha nó na nótaí bainc nó na monaí in euro sin a bhailiú ó ceann amháin nó níos mó de na háiteanna sin i mBallstát rannpháirteach nó i mBallstáit rannpháirteacha agus iad a sholáthar do nó iad a bhailiú ón mBallstát tionscnaimh, gan dochar d’iompar uasmhéid 20 % d’airgead tirim nach airgead in euro é i ndáil le luach iomlán an airgid thirim arna iompar san fheithicil chéanna i gcás ina ndéanann feithicil CIT bunáite na n-oibríochtaí seachadta/bailithe airgid thirim in euro le linn an lae céanna a chur i gcrích ar chríoch an Bhallstáit aíochta nó i gcás iompar pointe go pointe nuair a dhéantar an t-iompar idir dhá Bhallstát rannpháirteacha éagsúla;
"cross-border transport of euro cash by road" means the professional transport, either for remuneration on behalf of third parties or carried out within a cash-in-transit (hereinafter "CIT") company, by a CIT vehicle by road of euro banknotes or coins from a participating Member State, for supplying euro banknotes or coins to, or collecting them from, one or more locations in one or more other participating Member States, and in the Member State of origin – without prejudice to the transport of a maximum of 20 % of non-euro cash in relation to the total value of cash transported in the same CIT vehicle – where the majority of euro cash deliveries/pick-ups made by a CIT vehicle during the same day is carried out on the territory of the host Member State, or, in the case of point-to-point transport, where the transport takes place between two different participating Member States;
