Decision (CFSP) 2015/778 should therefore be repealed and EUNAVFOR MED operation SOPHIA will consequently end upon such repeal.

EUNAVFOR MED operation SOPHIA has been ongoing since that date, and was extended through Council Decision (CFSP) 2019/1595.
