amending Delegated Regulation (EU) 2021/2066 supplementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1022 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the extension of the high survivability exemption to the landing obligation for Venus shells (Venus spp.), Scallops (Pecten jacobaeus) and Carpet clams (Venerupis spp.) in the western Mediterranean Sea
Moltar sa mholadh comhpháirteach nuashonraithe an 8 Iúil 2022 síneadh a chur leis na díolúintí ard-inmharthanachta, mar a fhoráiltear in Airteagal 15(4), pointe (b), de Rialachán (AE) Uimh. 1380/2013, arna bhunú le haghaidh breallaigh mhaighdeogacha (Venus spp.), Muiríní (Pecten jacobaeus) agus breallaigh chroise (Venerupis spp.) a ghabhtar le dreidirí meicnithe.
The updated joint recommendation of 8 July 2022 proposes to extend the high survivability exemptions, as provided for in Article 15(4), point (b), of Regulation (EU) No 1380/2013, established for Venus shells (Venus spp.), Scallops (Pecten jacobaeus) and Carpet clams (Venerupis spp.) caught with mechanised dredges.
Maidir leis na cosúlachtaí idir muiríní na Meánmhara Thiar (Pecten jacobaeus) agus le breallaigh chroise (Venerupis spp.), déanfar ard-inmharthanacht na speiceas sin a mheas i ndáil leis an dá speiceas sin agus iarrfar ar na Ballstáit staidéir a fhorbairt sa Mheánmhuir Thiar.
Regarding the similarities with the Western Mediterranean Scallops (Pecten jacobaeus) and Carpet clams (Venerupis spp.), the likely high survivability of those species is to be considered in relation to these two species while requesting Member States to develop studies in the Western Mediterranean.
Ós rud é go bhfuil an fhianaise maidir le rátaí marthanais muiríní (Pecten jacobaeus) agus breallaigh chroise (Venerupis spp.) neamhchonclúideach agus gur tháinig STECF ar an gconclúid gur gá tuilleadh fianaise eolaíche maidir leis an inmharthanacht a thabhairt maidir leis na speicis dhébhlaoscacha sin sa Mheánmhuir Thiar, measann an Coimisiún nár cheart síneadh a chur leis an díolúine ach ar feadh tréimhse ghearr.
As the evidence on the survival rates of Scallops (Pecten jacobaeus) and Carpet clams (Venerupis spp.) is inconclusive and STECF concluded that further scientific evidence on the survivability need to be provided for those bivalve species in the western Mediterranean Sea, the Commission considers that the exemption should be extended only for a short period.
Le Rialachán Tarmligthe (AE) 2022/2288 ón gCoimisiún, cuireadh síneadh le fad na díolúine ard-inmharthanachta ón oibleagáid gabhálacha a thabhairt i dtír maidir leis an muirín (Pecten jacobaeaus) agus leis an mbreallach croise (Venerupis spp.) go dtí an 31 Nollaig 2023 agus maidir leis an mbreallach maighdeogach (Venus spp) go dtí an 31 Nollaig 2024.
Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/2288 extended the duration of the high survivability exemption to the landing obligation for scallop (Pecten jacobaeaus) and carpet clams (Venerupis spp.) until 31 December 2023 and for Venus shells (Venus spp.), until 31 December 2024.
Leis an moladh comhpháirteach nuashonraithe, cosúil leis an moladh comhpháirteach tosaigh, moltar síneadh a chur leis na díolúintí ard-inmharthanachta, mar a fhoráiltear in Airteagal 15(4), pointe (b), de Rialachán (AE) Uimh. 1380/2013, arna bhunú le haghaidh moilisc dhébhlaoscacha, is é sin muirín (Pecten jacobaeus) agus breallach croise (Venerupis spp.) a ghabhtar le dreidirí meicnithe.
