—Fé réir an Aire do thoiliú chuige féadfaidh údarás conganta phuiblí, más dóich leo san do bheith ceart, socrú do dhéanamh chun go gcongnófaí, i dteaghlach no in óspidéal no i bhfundúireacht eile ná beidh curtha ar fáil ná á chothabháil ag an údarás san, le daoine, no le haicmí áirithe daoine, bheidh i dteideal conganta phuiblí agus má dheineann údarás conganta phuiblí socrú den tsórt san féadfaidh an t-údarás san na costaisí sin d'íoc a bhainfidh leis na daoine gur chun congnamh leo a déanfar an socrú san d'aistriú chun na fundúireachta san agus uaithi agus fós costaisí a gcothabhála, a gcóireála, a dteagaisc, nó a dtréineála inti.
—Subject to the consent of the Minister, a public assistance authority may, if they so think proper, make provision for the assistance in a home, hospital, or other institution not provided or maintained by such authority of persons, or particular classes of persons, eligible for public assistance, and where a public assistance authority makes such provision, such authority may defray the expenses of the conveyance of the persons for whose assistance such provision is made to and from such institution and the expenses of their maintenance, treatment, instruction, or training therein.
