I gcomhthéacs an athscrúdaithe/athbhreithnithe mheántéarma ar CAI, comhaontaíonn Parlaimint na hEorpa, an Chomhairle agus an Coimisiún scrúdú comhpháirteach a dhéanamh ar an ré is oiriúnaí do CAI ina dhiaidh sin, sula ndéanfaidh an Coimisiún a thograí a thíolacadh d'fhonn an chothromaíocht cheart a fháil idir ré na dtéarmaí oifige faoi seach do chomhaltaí Pharlaimint na hEorpa agus do chomhaltaí an Choimisiúin Eorpaigh - agus an gá atá le cobhsaíocht do thimthriallacha cláraithe agus d'intuarthacht infheistíochta.
In the context of the mid-term review/revision of the MFF, the European Parliament, the Council and the Commission agree to jointly examine the most suitable duration for the subsequent MFF before the Commission presents its proposals with a view to striking the right balance between the duration of the respective terms of office of the members of the European Parliament and the European Commission - and the need for stability for programming cycles and investment predictability.

Bunaithe ar an méid thuasluaite, agus i gcomhar le gníomhaíochtaí breise féideartha a bheidh le breithniú ag an gCoimisiún [27] faoi lár-2016, tugann an t-athbhreithniú/t-athchóiriú ar an gCreat Airgeadais Ilbhliantúil (CAI) [28] atá ag teacht aníos deis don Reachtóir an dul chun cinn a bhain CEIS amach a mheasúnú agus aon bheart ceartaitheach is gá a dhéanamh.
On the basis of the above, and in conjunction with possible additional actions to be considered by mid-2016 by the Commission [27], the upcoming mid-term review/revision of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) [28] provides the opportunity for the Legislator to assess the progress achieved by EFSI and for taking any corrective measure needed.
