(4) Más rud é go ndéantar, in aon seachtain ranníoca, íocaíocht nach mó ná €100 sa tseachtain (nó atá comhionann leis an íocaíocht i leith sealbhóra oifige poiblí ag a bhfuil luach saothair á fháil ar shlí eile seachas ar bhonn seachtainiúil) le sealbhóir oifige poiblí nó chun sochair do shealbhóir oifige poiblí i leith luach saothair an duine sin de dhroim oifig phoiblí a shealbhú, ní bheidh ranníoc faoi fho-alt (1) iníoctha ag an sealbhóir oifige poiblí sin i leith an luacha saothair sin de dhroim an oifig phoiblí sin a shealbhú.
(4) Where in any contribution week a payment of not more than €100 per week (or the equivalent thereof in respect of a public office holder remunerated otherwise than on a weekly basis) is made to or for the benefit of a public office holder in respect of the remuneration of that person arising from the holding of a public office, a contribution under subsection (1) shall not be payable by that public office holder in respect of that remuneration arising from the holding of that public office.
