    Two decimal places of contact time (up to 1 ms) are permissible if it can be proven that these are due to poor electrical contacts; however, these must be investigated with reference to the film to ascertain whether the breaks in contact are not due to biomechanical phenomena such as dummy ramping, head restraint or seatback collapse, or ‘bounce’ of the head during non-structural contact with the head restraint.
