    Le linn an tríú cruinniú a bhí ag COP an 25-29 Samhain 2019, ghlac COP Cinneadh MC-3/5 lena socraítear tairseacha i ndáil le dramhaíl atá comhdhéanta de mhearcair nó de chomhdhúile mearcair nó ina bhfuil mearcair nó comhdhúile mearcair, dá dtagraítear in Airteagal 11(2) den Choinbhinsiún, agus lena gceanglaítear ar an ngrúpa saineolaithe teicniúla, a bhunaigh COP le linn an dara cruinniú a bhí aici ar an 19-23 Samhain 2018, tairseacha i ndáil le dramhaíl atá éillithe le mearcair nó le comhdhúile mearcair (“dramhaíl atá éillithe le mearcair”), lena n-áirítear tairseacha i ndáil le fuíll ó mhianadóireacht nach mianadóireacht phríomha mearcair í.

    The COP, during its third meeting on 25-29 November 2019, adopted Decision MC-3/5 setting thresholds for waste consisting of or containing mercury or mercury compounds, as referred to in Article 11(2) of the Convention, and requiring the group of technical experts, established by the COP at its second meeting on 19-23 November 2018, to develop thresholds for waste contaminated with mercury or mercury compounds (‘mercury contaminated waste’), including for tailings from mining other than primary mercury mining.
