This Regulation shall not affect the application of the 2007 Lugano Convention.

The 1988 Lugano Convention was revised by the Convention on Jurisdiction and the Recognition and Enforcement of Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters [8], signed at Lugano on 30 October 2007 by the Community, Denmark, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland ("the 2007 Lugano Convention").
