On 18 October 2023, the Council received the proposal from the Board of Supervisors of the EBA for the extension of the term of office of the current Chairperson,
I gcomhréir le hAirteagal 48(4) de Rialachán (AE) Uimh. 1093/2010, arna leasú, ar bhonn togra arna tharraingt suas ag Bord Maoirseoirí ÚBE, féadfaidh an Chomhairle, le cúnamh ón gCoimisiún, agus meastóireacht Bhord Maoirseoirí ÚBE á cur san áireamh, síneadh a chur le téarma oifige an Chathaoirligh.
In accordance with Article 48(4) of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010 as amended, the Council, on the basis of a proposal drawn up by the Board of Supervisors of the EBA, and with the assistance of the Commission, and taking into account the evaluation of that Board of Supervisors, may extend the term of office of the Chairperson.
