In accordance with the reporting obligation under Directive 94/62/EC, the Commission will draw up a programme for pilot studies to be carried out on a voluntary basis by Member States in order to assess the relevance of including packaging waste entries (EWC-Stat Version 3) in the breakdown list set out in point 1.
