Leis an Rialachán seo, ba cheart, dá bhrí sin, an clár oibre glas a chur chun cinn trí chosaint an chomhshaoil a neartú, trí rannchuidiú leis an athrú aeráide a mhaolú agus tríd an athléimneacht in aghaidh an athraithe aeráide a mhéadú, agus trí dhlús a chur leis an aistriú i dtreo geilleagar ísealcharbóin.
This Regulation should therefore promote the green agenda by reinforcing environmental protection, contributing to the mitigation of climate change and increasing resilience to climate change, and accelerating the shift towards a low-carbon economy.
