Ní gá, in aon imthosca, do dhuine a mbeidh fógra achomhairc seirbheáilte air fógra a thabhairt i bhfoirm crosachomhairc, ach má tá ar intinn ag an duine sin a mhaíomh, nuair a bheidh an t-achomharc á éisteacht, gur chóir an breithiúnas nó an t-ordú a mbeifear ag achomharc ina choinne a athrú, déanfaidh sé, laistigh de cheithre lá ón tseirbheáil sin air, nó laistigh de cibé tréimhse fhadaithe ama a lamhálfaidh an Chúirt Uachtarach, fógra á rá é sin a bheith ar intinn aige a thabhairt d'aon pháirtithe dá ndéanfaidh an maíomh sin difear.
It shall not, under any circumstances, be necessary for a person served with notice of appeal to give notice by way of cross appeal, but if such person intends, upon the hearing of the appeal, to contend that the judgment or order appealed from should be varied, he shall within four days of such service upon him or within such extended time as may be allowed by the Supreme Court give notice of such intention to any parties who may be affected by such contention.
