(1) Féadfar gearán faoi alt 25 (1) den Acht go bhfuil núis déanta mar gheall ar thafann iomarcach madra a dhéanamh ag aon suí den Chúirt don cheantar cúirte ina bhfuil an t-áitreabh ina gcoimeádtar an madra.

(1) A complaint under section 25 (1) of the Act that a nuisance has been created as a result of excessive barking by a dog may be made at any sitting of the Court for the court area wherein the premises in which the dog, is kept are situated.

—(1) Where, on a complaint being made to the District Court by any person, it appears that a nuisance has been created as a result of excessive barking by a dog, the court may—

(2) Sula ndéanfaidh aon duine gearán chuig an gCúirt Dúiche i ndáil le núis a tharla mar gheall ar thafann iomarcach madra, déanfaidh sé fógra san fhoirm fhorordaithe a sheirbheáil, laistigh de cibé tráth a shonrófar san fhógra, ar áititheoir an áitribh ina gcoimeádtar an madra go bhfuil sé ar intinn aige gearán den sórt sin a dhéanamh.

(2) Before any person makes a complaint to the District Court in relation to a nuisance caused by the excessive barking of a dog, he shall serve notice in the prescribed form, within such time as may he specified in the notice, of his intention to make such a complaint on the occupier of the premises in which the dog is kept.
