    (d) arna iarraidh sin don Choimisiún nó ar a thionscnamh féin, tuairimí réasúnaithe a thabhairt ar cheisteanna ginearálta nó ar cheisteanna prionsabail, go háirithe maidir le malartú faisnéise a bhaineann le forbairtí sa mhargadh saothair, maidir le gluaiseacht oibrithe idir Ballstáit, maidir le cláir nó le bearta chun gairmthreoir agus gairmoiliúint a chur ar bun, ar cláir nó bearta iad de chineál a dhéanfaidh na féidearthachtaí i leith saoirse gluaiseachta agus i leith fostaíochta a mhéadú, agus maidir le gach cineál cúnaimh d’oibrithe agus dá dteaghlaigh, lena n-áirítear cúnamh sóisialta agus tithíocht oibrithe.

    (d) delivering, either at the request of the Commission or on its own initiative, reasoned opinions on general questions or on questions of principle, in particular on exchange of information concerning developments in the labour market, on the movement of workers between Member States, on programmes or measures to develop vocational guidance and vocational training which are likely to increase the possibilities of freedom of movement and employment, and on all forms of assistance to workers and their families, including social assistance and the housing of workers.

    Ón 4 Samhain 2015 go dtí an 12 Feabhra 2016, thionóil an Coimisiún comhairliúchán poiblí i bhfoirm Shuirbhé AE a bhí roinnte in dhá chuid. Sa chéad chuid, bhí ceisteanna ginearálta inar lorgaíodh ionchur ó pháirtithe leasmhara nach raibh saineolas acu ar chúrsaí iomaíochta. Chuimsigh an dara cuid ceisteanna a bhí dírithe ar pháirtithe leasmhara a raibh taithí/eolas níos doimhne acu ar an ábhar.

    From 4 November 2015 until 12 February 2016, the Commission held a public consultation in the form of an EU Survey which was split into two parts, a first one with general questions seeking input from non-specialised stakeholders, and a second one for stakeholders with a deeper knowledge/experience of competition matters.
