Information about other physico-chemical properties is also needed to identify the fate of the chemical or material in question, estimate the exposure and identify the exposure pathway(s) and characterise risk (e.g., properties such as the chemical’s or material’s physical form and vapour pressure relevant for human health, or water solubility and the octanol water partition coefficient (Log Kow) relevant for the environment).
