‘Decree-Law No 10-A/2020 of 13 March’ and the subsequent ‘Decree-Law No 10-A/2021 of 2 February’, which are referred to in Portugal’s request of 9 December 2021, provided for the hiring of additional health professionals and overtime work in the National Health Service to help address pandemic-related challenges.
