(3) All sums from time to time held in the fund by way of sinking fund may be invested at the discretion of the Minister in all or any of the following ways, that is say, in advances in respect of local loans, or in the purchase of securities issued under this Act on behalf of the fund, or in the purchase of any stock, fund, or security in which trustees are authorised by section 18 of the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), to invest trust funds, or in the purchase of any stock, shares, or security the principal and interest of which is guaranteed under statutory authority by the Government of Saorstát Eireann.

(3) Any sums standing to the credit of the Account shall be invested and kept invested at the discretion of the Minister for Finance on behalf of the Fund in all or any of the following ways, that is to say, in the purchase of any stock, fund or security in which trustees are authorised by section 18 of the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922) to invest trust funds or in the purchase of any stock, shares or security the principal and interest of which is guaranteed under statutory authority by the Government of Saorstát Eireann, and any interest received from such investment shall be credited to the Account.

(4) Féadfar airgead ar bith is cuid den Chiste Dhíomhaointis Fhoirlíontaigh d'íoc anonn o am go ham leis an Aire Airgeadais agus féadfa seisean a shuncáil agus a choimeád suncálta fé mar is rogha leis thar ceann an Chiste sin i ngach slí no in aon tslí no slite aca so leanas, sé sin le rá, do cheannach aon stuic, ciste no urrúis ina mbeidh údaruithe d'iontaobhaithe leis an dlí bheidh i bhfeidhm de thurus na huaire cistí iontaobhais do shuncáil, no do cheannach aon stuic, scaireanna no urrúis a mbeidh an cholann agus t-ús urruithe fé údarás reachtúil ag an Riaghaltas, agus íocfar isteach sa Chiste sin aon ús do gheobhfar as an suncáil sin.
(4) Any moneys forming part of the Supplementary Unemployment Fund may from time to time be paid over to the Minister for Finance and by him invested and kept invested at his discretion on behalf of the said Fund in all or any of the following ways, that is to say, in the purchase of any stock, fund or security in which trustees are authorised by the law for the time being in force to invest trust funds or in the purchase of any stock, shares or security the principal and interest of which are guaranteed under statutory authority by the Government and any interest received from such investment shall be paid into the said Fund.

(2) Na suimeanna uile cuirfear i leataoibh i gciste na mbannaí talmhan do réir ailt 5 d'Acht na mBannaí Talmhan, 1933 (Uimh. 33 de 1933) , no do réir orduithe ar n-a dhéanamh fé alt 4 d'Acht na mBannaí Talmhan, 1934 ( Uimh. 11 de 1934 ), agus ná beidh ag teastáil láithreach chun bannaí talmhan d'fhuascailt, féadfaidh an tAire Airgid, más oiriúnach leis é, iad do shuncáil i gceannach aon stuic, ciste, no urrúis go n-údaruítear d'iontaobhaithe le halt 18 den Acht um Oiriúnú Achtanna, 1922 ( Uimh. 2 de 1922 ), cistí iontaobhais do shuncáil ionta no i gceannach aon stuic, scaireanna, no urrúis go n-urruítear a gcolann agus an t-ús ortha fé údarás reachtúil ag Rialtas Shaorstáit Éireann, agus má deintear agus pé uair a déanfar aon tsuim a bheidh curtha i leataoibh amhlaidh do shuncáil amhlaidh beidh éifeacht ag na forálacha so leanas, sé sin le rá:—
(2) All sums set aside in the land bond fund in pursuance of section 5 of the Land Bond Act, 1933 (No. 33 of 1933), or of an order made under section 4 of the Land Bond Act, 1934 (No. 11 of 1934), and not immediately required for the redemption of land bonds may be invested by the Minister for Finance, if he so thinks fit, in the purchase of any stock, fund, or security in which trustees are authorised by section 18 of the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), to invest trust funds or in the purchase of any stock, shares, or security the principal of and interest on which are guaranteed under statutory authority by the Government of Saorstát Eireann, and if and whenever any sum so set aside is so invested the following provisions shall have effect, that is to say:—
