Irish legislation from the parallel corpus is available here for download in a number of TMX files. Translators who use computer-aided translation (CAT) tools can import these files into their software to facilitate their work.

The original legislation is copyright Government of Ireland. The derivative machine-readable aligned translation memories are copyright Fiontar & Scoil na Gaeilge (DCU) and are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

The files are available in the TMX (Translation Memory eXchange) format. The TMX format is suitable for importing into computer-aided translation tools. The files contain pairs of passages in English and Irish.

These files are updated periodically. It is recommended to download them regularly to make sure you always have the latest version. If you sign up for our mailing list, we will let you know each time a new version has been made available.
