The Commission or a Member State may submit to the Agency a request for an opinion on maximum residue limits in either of the following circumstances:

(2) Beidh iarratas ar thuairim faoi fho-alt (1) i cibé foirm, agus beidh ann cibé faisnéis agus sonraí, a éileoidh na Coimisinéirí Ioncaim i ndáil le hiarratas den sórt sin.

(2) An application for an opinion under subsection (1) shall be in such form and contain such information and particulars as the Revenue Commissioners may require in relation to such an application.

I gcás aon substainte dá dtagraítear i mír 1, ar bunaíodh uasteorainn iarmhar di faoi Rialachán (CEE) Uimh. 2377/90, féadfaidh an Coimisiún nó Ballstát araon iarratas ar thuairim a chur isteach chuig an nGníomhaireacht maidir le heachtarshuíomh chuig speicis nó chuig fíocháin eile, i gcomhréir le hAirteagal 5.

For any substance referred to in paragraph 1 for which a maximum residue limit has been established under Regulation (EEC) No 2377/90, the Commission or a Member State may also submit to the Agency a request for an opinion on extrapolation to other species or tissues in accordance with Article 5.
