    Ba cheart forlámhas a bheith ag an Rialachán seo ar na forálacha atá i gcomhaontuithe déthaobhacha nó iltaobhacha nó i socraithe déthaobhacha nó iltaobhacha, arna dtabhairt i gcríoch ag na Ballstáit, a bhfuil an raon feidhme céanna acu leis an Rialachán seo, go háirithe Coinbhinsiún na Háige an 15 Samhain 1965 ar Sheirbheáil Doiciméad Breithiúnach agus Seachbhreithiúnach in Ábhair Shibhialta nó Tráchtála ar an gCoigríoch sa chaidreamh idir na Ballstáit is páirtí dó.

    This Regulation should prevail over the provisions contained in bilateral or multilateral agreements or arrangements concluded by the Member States that have the same scope of application as this Regulation, in particular the Hague Convention of 15 November 1965 on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters in relations between the Member States party thereto.

    Maidir le hábhair a bhfuil feidhm aige maidir leo, beidh forlámhas ag an Rialachán seo ar fhorálacha eile atá sna comhaontuithe déthaobhacha nó iltaobhacha nó sna socruithe déthaobhacha nó iltaobhacha arna dtabhairt i gcrích ag Ballstáit, agus go háirithe Coinbhinsiún na Háige an 15 Samhain 1965 ar Sheirbheáil Doiciméad Breithiúnach agus Seachbhreithiúnach in Ábhair Shibhialta nó Tráchtála ar an gCoigríoch, i gcaidrimh idir na Ballstáit ar páirtithe iad iontu.

    This Regulation shall prevail in relation to matters to which it applies over other provisions contained in bilateral or multilateral agreements or arrangements concluded by Member States, and in particular the Hague Convention of 15 November 1965 on the Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters, in relations between the Member States party thereto.
