Ó tugadh an chaibidlíocht le haghaidh an Chomhaontaithe i gcrích, cuireadh Treoir (AE) 2017/1371 ó Pharlaimint na hEorpa agus ón gComhairle in ionad dhlí an Aontais maidir le cosaint leasanna airgeadais an Aontais Eorpaigh, a ndearnadh forálacha de a chuimsiú in Iarscríbhinn XLIV a ghabhann leis an gComhaontú, agus dá bhrí sin tá athrú tagtha freisin ar ghealltanais na hÚcráine atá beartaithe le cur chun feidhme an Chomhaontaithe.
Since the conclusion of negotiations for the Agreement, EU law on protection of the financial interests of the European Union, provisions of which were incorporated in Annex XLIV to the Agreement, was replaced by Directive (EU) 2017/1371 of the European Parliament and of the Council, and thus Ukraine’s commitments envisaged by the implementation of the Agreement have changed as well.
