It also provides that fees shall not be payable by local authorities in District Court proceedings brought by them under the Local Authorities (Traffic Wardens) Act, 1975 . It further provides that no fee shall be payable by a person engaged in a prosecution at the suit of the Director of Public Prosecutions or in any other proceedings at the suit of the Director of Public Prosecutions.

—All proceedings for the recovery of any tax or duty now under the care and management of the Revenue Commissioners, or any fine, penalty or forfeiture incurred in connection with any such tax or duty shall (unless the same are authorised by law to be taken at the suit of the Revenue Commissioners or of one of their officers or of an Officer of the Peace) be taken at the suit of the Attorney-General of Saorstát Eireann.

Any person having cause of action or suit against a soldier of the Forces, may, notwithstanding anything in this Section, after due notice in writing given to the soldier, or left at his last quarters, proceed in such action or suit to judgment, and have execution other than against the person, pay, arms, ammunition, equipment, regimental necessaries or clothing of such soldier.

(6) A prosecution for an offence under this Act may in a school attendance area situate in a county borough or urban district mentioned in the Schedule to this Act, be prosecuted at the suit of any school attendance officer in the area as prosecutor, and may in any other school attendance area, be prosecuted at the suit of the enforcing authority of the area as prosecutor.
(3) Gach cruthúnas agus gach scríbhinn agus páipeur eile a lóisteálfar in aon chúirt no a sínfar isteach chúichi i dtaobh no le linn éisteacht aon chúise dlí no ní, cimeádfar iad i seilbh no fé ordú agus fé dheighleáil an bhreithimh no sinsir na mbreithiún ag á mbeidh no gur ina láthair a bheidh an chúis no an ní sin á éisteacht.
(3) All proofs and all other documents and papers lodged in or handed in to any court in relation to or in the course of the hearing of any suit or matter shall be held by or at the order and disposal of the judge or the senior of the judges by or before whom such suit or matter is heard.
(4) Féadfaidh an tAire Tionnscail agus Tráchtála no féadfar ar agra an Aire sin mar chúisitheoir cúiseamh do dhéanamh i gcionta fén alt so maidir le deimhniú do thug an tAire sin amach fén alt so, agus féadfaidh an tAire Talmhaíochta no féadfar ar agra an Aire sin mar chúisitheoir cúiseamh do dhéanamh i gcionta fén alt so maidir le deimhniú do thug an tAire sin amach fén alt so.
(4) An offence under this section in relation to a certificate issued under this section by the Minister for Industry and Commerce may be prosecuted by or at the suit of that Minister as prosecutor, and an offence under this section in relation to a certificate issued under this section by the Minister for Agriculture may be prosecuted by or at the suit of that Minister as prosecutor.

(4) An offence under this section if committed on premises entered in or the subject of an application for entry in the register of flour importers, or the register of distillers may be prosecuted by or at the suit of the Minister for Industry and Commerce as prosecutor, and if committed on any premises entered in or the subject of an application for entry in any other register may be prosecuted by or at the suit of the Minister for Agriculture as prosecutor.

(4) An offence under this section in relation to an inspector of the Minister for Industry and Commerce may be prosecuted by or at the suit of that Minister as prosecutor and an offence under this section in relation to an inspector of the Minister for Agriculture may be prosecuted by or at the suit of that Minister as prosecutor.

( d ) in every action, suit, prosecution, or other proceeding in relation to such hospital or other institution which is pending at the commencement of this Part of this Act and to which the authorities are parties, the board shall, on the commencement of this Part of this Act, become and be a party in the place of the authorities and such action, suit, prosecution, or other proceeding shall be continued between the board and the other parties thereto accordingly;

and to which the Minister, the Minister for Finance, the Ranger (within the meaning of the Act of 1868) or the Deputy Ranger (within the meaning of the Act of 1868) is a party shall abate or be discontinued or prejudicially affected by reason of the repeal of the Act of 1868, and in every such action, suit or proceedings aforesaid to which the Minister is not a party, the Minister shall on the passing of this Act become and be a party in the place of the Minister for Finance, the Ranger or the Deputy Ranger, as the case may be, and such action, suit or proceedings, as the case may be, shall be continued between the Minister and the other parties thereto accordingly.

—(1) No goods or chattels whatever, belonging to any person at the time any tax becomes in arrear, shall be liable to be taken by virtue of any execution or other process, warrant, or authority whatever, or by virtue of any assignment, on any account or pretence whatever, except at the suit of the landlord for rent, unless the person at whose suit the execution or seizure is made, or to whom the assignment was made, pays or causes to be paid to the Collector, before the sale or removal of the goods or chattels, all arrears of tax which are due at the time of seizure, or which are payable for the year in which the seizure is made.
