    Definition instrument institué pour la période 2021-2027 dans le but de promouvoir un niveau élevé de sûreté nucléaire, la radioprotection ainsi que la réalisation de contrôles de sécurité efficaces et effectifs des matières nucléaires dans les pays tiers, en s’inspirant des activités menées au sein de la Communauté européenne de l’énergie atomique Reference "COM-FR d'après le règlement (EURATOM) 2021/948 instituant un instrument européen relatif à la coopération internationale en matière de sûreté nucléaire complétant l’instrument de voisinage, de coopération au développement et de coopération internationale — Europe dans le monde, sur la base du traité instituant la Communauté européenne de l’énergie atomique, et abrogeant le règlement (Euratom) no 237/2014"
    Comment "Au titre du cadre financier pluriannuel 2021-2027, cet instrument devrait s'appuie sur les actions précédemment soutenues par l'instrument relatif à la coopération en matière de sûreté nucléaireet financera une partie des opérations de coopération en matière de sûreté nucléaire qui ne relèvent pas de l'instrument de voisinage, de coopération au développement et de coopération internationale — Europe dans le monde."
